Blood Cancers
Funded almost $61 million, for Leukemia, the 5-year relative survival rate has increased from 33% in 1975 to 65.7% between 2012-18.
Breast Cancer
Funded nearly $31 million, Breast cancer death rates have been decreasing steadily since 1989, for an overall decline of 43% through 2020.
Lung Cancer
Over $26 million funded. Lung cancer death rates declined by 51% from 1990 to 2017 among men and 26% from 2002 to 2017 among women.
Prostate
Over $11.2 million funded to date. Cancer death rates declined 52% from 1993 to 2017 among men.
Pediatric Cancer
Nearly $67 million funded. 5-year survival rate for children (0 to 14) has increased from 58% to 84.7% from the mid-1970s to 2017. For adolescents (15-19) it has increased from 68% to 85.9% during that same time period.
Gastrointestinal
Nearly $30 million funded. The death rate has dropped by 50% 1992 to 2020.
