Jonathan Karron

Chief Marketing Officer

Jonathan is the Chief Marketing Officer of the V Foundation. He is an accomplished, results-driven marketing leader who drives revenue growth and builds and strengthens affinity for the brands he champions. His diverse marketing background includes leading integrated and digital marketing teams in non-profit, client and agency settings. He is an expert at deriving strategic insights that lead to the development of impactful marketing strategies that meet and exceed organizational goals.

Prior to joining the V Foundation, Jonathan served as the VP of Digital Marketing & Revenue for the American Cancer Society. Before that role he was the National VP of Brand & Digital Strategy for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In the corporate world, he held leadership roles covering Brand, Digital and Integrated Marketing with Herschend Family Entertainment, the nation’s largest privately held theme park company, and with Turner Broadcasting’s entertainment networks – Turner Classic Movies, TNT and TBS. Earlier in his career, he worked at several leading advertising agencies – Leo Burnett/Starcom, Bates USA and Bozell – in account service, field marketing and media roles for clients including Miller Brewing, Wendy’s, Hyundai and Taco Bell. As his schedule allows, Jonathan serves as an adjunct marketing professor at Georgia State University.

Jonathan has a BA in Journalism/Advertising from the University of Maryland and a MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University.

Jonathan lives in Atlanta with his husband Evan and enjoys traveling, participating in triathlons, is a news junkie and is an avid sports fan, with a passionate (and often heartbreaking) loyalty to the Atlanta Falcons. He is also involved in his community, serving on several boards and non-profit committees.
